2025-2026 IAVM Region 7 Scholarships


SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION (Please complete the Application Form below information section)

Application Dates: October 17th, 2025 - January 30th, 2026

  • Awardees will be notified the week of February 6th, 2026 and must accept by February 20th, 2026

  • Awards (Total 2026 Region 7 Scholarships = $25,000 - this figure includes one 2025 deferred VMS Scholarship)

CATEGORY 1 Education and Conference Scholarships

  • VMS, Single Year (Yr. 1, Yr. 2 or Leadership Institute) = $3,000

  • VMS, Single Year (Yr. 1, Yr. 2 or Leadership Institute) = $3,000

5 education scholarships to any one (1) of the following IAVM conferences:

  • Region 7 Conference = $1,500

  • AVSS = $1,500

  • GuestX = $1,500

  • VenueConnect 2026 = $1,500

  • Senior Executive Symposium = $1,500

1 Brad Mayne Leadership & Volunteerism Scholarship = $2,000 (Region 7, AVSS, GuestX, VC '26 or SES)

2 CVP Certification Scholarships = $700 ea. (expanded to include the cost of study materials)

CATEGORY 2Young Professionals Student Scholarships (must be a current full-time student to qualify)

  • 8 Young Professionals Student Scholarships @ $75 ea. awarded to young professionals within Region 7
    (Note: These Student scholarship stipends are primarily intended to cover Student Registration for the 2026 Region 7 conference in Pasadena, CA)

Additional Foundation Campaign Contribution Scholarships financed by Region 7 in 2025-26 (not granted via this application)

  • $1,500 donated to the IAVM Foundation for the #YouBelong campaign

  • $1,500 donated to the IAVM Foundation for the 100+ Women of IAVM campaign

  • $1,500 donated to the IAVM Foundation for the 30/Under/30 program

GUIDELINES & CRITERIA

To be eligible for each scholarship, applicants must be:

  1. A non-member working at a venue managed by a Professional Member, or

  2. Allied Member whose venue resides in Region 7

  3. For Student Scholarships, a full-time student attending a College or University within Region 7

  4. Applicants must upload and attach their professional resume to the online application

  5. If selected, CEO or GM approval is required (or Faculty Advisor for students)

  6. All applications will be reviewed by members of the Region 7 Scholarship Committee

  7. Recipients will be notified via e-mail from the Region 7 Scholarship Committee
